Mounting Arrangement

The End of Lap sensor mounts on the side of the vehicle facing the Beacon. It should be tilted about 10 to 15 degress towards the ground in order to prevent it being saturated by direct sunlight.

Test

Operation can be checked by using the test switch on the beaconor by waving the beacon past the sensor. This should cause the indicator on the sensor to blink, and a status change from 0 to 1 can be noticed on the MSELog Test Sensors display.

Logger Configuration

Select Lap Marker from the sensor name menu. It is OK for the sample rate to be 0 for this point.
